I dunno how to feel about the story in the C route. Maybe it's because I'm not good with symbolism and such, but I am left confused at some of the stuff revealed and how it connects to the what we already know

The girl holograms were part of the program governing YoRHa and the tower was a program that executed when the bunker was destroyed, with the intention of wiping out the remaining server of humanity's records on the moon

The idea was to use the data obtained through the YoRHa units to build superior android models that could take over.

The girls destroyed each other in the end because one of them saw A2 as being a vital piece to drive their evolution further, while the other saw A2 as a threat to the project itself.

A2 herself was a precursor model made to build the YoRHa models, similar to how 2B and 9S were intended to provide data for the next generation.

From what little backstory we have on A2, we know that she once was part of, or even commandeered a squadron that was at one point wiped out

2B was revealed to be a 2E model, with the intention of wiping out 9S should he ever discover the secret behind YoRHa.

What I'm unclear about is the relation between Devola and Popopla and YoRHa. According to their backstory, they were the ones that put humanity's records on the moon after Gestalt failed.

I'm also unclear about the relation between the machines and the aliens. At the beginning, the story was that the aliens made the machine lifeforms
11:38:03
Shinmera
Put that together with the fact that the aliens have been dead for a very long time, it puts to question whether they were the ones that made the machines, or someone else did

Mind you that's just my thoughts. I don't know if I'm completely missing the mark.

Still don't know what the fuck's up when the server burst-disconnects people though

I can't say which one I prefer without potentially falling to bias because it's been so long since I read the original

I definitely prefer the world of Automata over Gestalt. It feels more alive and cohesive than Gestalt's

I said this before, but if they had more money and time I'm sure they would've/could've expanded the world even more, and I would have absolutely loved that.
