12:20:33 isoraqathedh I need to accomodate different moving styles for pieces, so I thought, "well, instead of looking for just-pressed keyboard events and then directly moving the piece, I can have a system wait for keyboard events and then convert them into my own events, and then use that instead." And then it would be easier to rewrite the systems to handle rebindable keys as well, so that works out.

12:37:30 isoraqathedh Most pieces only have one place they can move to, but there are exceptions: the FIDE Pawn moves exactly like in FIDE Chess, and the Feeble Queen and the Feeble Chancellor can choose between two.

12:38:08 isoraqathedh So my first thought is "okay, SPC moves the piece", and that works for the R, N, A and K, but now I /have/ to implement the Q and the P.

13:31:23 gingerale Will probably continue. This might be unrelated to the meds, just heightened by them. I'm going to talk to the psych again and meanwhile see if I can help the situation by myself. Because it is quite uncomfortable.
