Well, writing about failures is discouraging for sure, but it's still worthwhile. Even if you end up figuring it out later, having a section describing the troubles you had is good to have.

already had a long talk with them on thursday. basically reimplemented the entire EKF. it's better now but the error is still the same

Hm.. Now the physics toy in Trial crashes at exit. An entity fails to leave the scene because "slot container is unbound" and I don't see why it'd have a container in the first place, much less why it's unbound.

I've a problem again. I can't figure out why an entity doesn't get drawn. It's entered, it gets its location and scaling fetched, the values are correct..

It does, yes. vertex-entity shader-entity colored-entity. All the same as the other class that does get drawn.

Oh, nevermind. It did help. I just didn't restart it properly rather than reloading the scene.

Except the rotation is wrong on some cases and something with the calculation is bad.

Hmm.. The only thing for why things work that I can think of is that in my original test code I used fixed time steps of 1/60 but with Trial's tick thing I have delta time. But I can't see why this is an issue if I just apply it. Maybe I'm doing something wrong..

you should still use dt so physics can be slowed or sped up, but trial will by default try to perform 100 physics updates per second of simulated time.

Okay, yes, I am. I set it to always be passed as 1 and adjusted the things to normal and it works.
