getting a really bizarre error in Zippy when trying to save *over* an existing zip file
11:10:46
shinmera
I'm opening an old zip file. adding some entries. then saving it to a *different* path.

shinmera
So I'm not explicitly overwriting the same file, but it tries to copy old entries from the previous file to the new.

This shouldn't be an issue, but for whatever cursed reason it's getting bad input after seeking to an entry and I have no clue why
11:11:39
shinmera
it's also not *every* file or operation that does this, I so far can only reproduce it from within kandria

I'll make a floating window for the layers onto the canvas as well, for quick access.

Not quite sure how the tile selection should look. But I think I'll make some sort of a quick access window for it as well, and a larger selection of the entire tileset that you can open and hide at the bottom.

any reason you didn't just adjust the save mechanism of the other editor to get it done quick?

It's easier for me to learn how everything works if I do it myself. It's not like I have a deadline.

Also finally added a feature to FOR that I'd been missing forever: (for ((max maximizing y :key #'id))) for instance.

and I honestly would not be surprised if I've written a manual updating variant of max/min a hundred times by now

When said macro is not even within scope and said open source operates in a different manner.

Seemed kind of rude and ignorant anyway and I wasn't planning on it. Just wondering what you do with all the weird requests you get (this is definitely not the first of similar emails from different people)

I *did* just get an email titled "activities" with the text: What have you been doing now that Kandria is released? (as far as Lisp goes)

Which I found to be rather weirdly probing, so I just replied with two lines of what is also public knowledge

99% of it is composed of people trying to scam keys, automated emails, and other product offer garbage

regarding the PR email -- probably misaligned incentives on the part of the sender, such as trying to pad out their resume with "open source contributor" line items
