<shinmera> zyd: I only just woke up, but remember that "foo" is a file designator, not a directory designator, and that's important for pathnames.

<glenneth> I made some cahnges to the master branch on cl-uastc. Thanks for the scaling program for benchmarking. It really helped

Colleen
<shinmera> I also wanted to do benchmark scaffolding, but my brain refused to focus on that :(

Colleen
<glenneth> I would appreciate it if you could put it through it's paces at some point :)

Colleen
<glenneth> so I was studying the graph table from sb-sprof while i was travelling on Sunday, and then started making changes based on that too. It did improve performance. Thank you for that pointer too

<Hugo> glenneth2: sorry to hear that. do you ever drink tea? Camomile tea practically knocks me out. Actually same question to shinmera.

Colleen
<glenneth> and shinmera I appreciated the call out in your post too. And I'm glad that led to more work on the lichat stack :) I will get back to the client later today. I'm thinking how to "spread the word" about lichat. I've actually incorporated it into a project so users can chat with a QA/QC person in the app

Colleen
<Hugo> well, if sleep is an issue maybe give camomile tea a try, it will make you really relaxed even if you don't like tea so much

Shinmera: Is that significant for why the behavior of define-pool needs an extra "../" in pathnames?
17:20:19
Colleen
<shinmera> zyd: it's significant to your messages which write "data" without the trailing slash
17:30:37
Colleen
<shinmera> so the way it works is basically ./data/ + your base path, so if you pass ../foo it results in ./foo
17:49:47
zyd
Should it use the define-simple-condition macro in conditions.lisp? I see there's asset-input-file-missing in there
17:51:20
Colleen
<shinmera> zyd: sure, though in this case just ERROR is fine since this is not a runtime error
17:51:34
Colleen
<shinmera> so idk that anyone would ever want to handle it specifically with a dedicated type
