The worst part was when I presented some preliminary performance results at our computing center, and they were complaining that the performance was still off by a factor of 4 from what you can do in C or Fortran.

heisig: but when I first saw the extended euclidean in section 3.2 I instantly laughed (in a very positive way) and knew that's from TAoCP book 2 chapter 4 :)
