being able to relate, or better: map, the "markup language" to s-exp is a good thing because it helps with knowledge re-use, and ease the making of higher level tooling

e.g. s-exp vs. JSON vs XML vs. TOML... the community has debated at length what is best, promoting, in good faith, the best tool for the job, tho IMO they only touched the surface of the problem, ie the grammar enclosing the data that matters [...])

I am certainly biased, but none markup language outside s-exp was built with the promise to require only a simpler parser, while being able to represent a lot of things

re web browser, and more generally the client-server chism, after much thinking, it is clear to me that client-server, in particular client-cloud is very useful. In other words, smalltech, and smallweb should not be against the cloud, but instead pro user empowerment

the reason is that I for one can't host very large database at home, and even if I could, I certainly would want to have backups secured by someone else
