23:27:53 JohnCowan I tried to design a gnucobol preprocessor that accepted Dibol (which has a standard) but it broke down on the issue of file descriptors, which in Dibol are programmer-chosen integer expressions as in Fortran or Basic, whereas in Cobol they are symbolic names.
