14:00:08lisp123Just want to know if its possible (if so, I'll figure it out) without _too_ much work, but is it possible to have scrollbars like in Modern interfaces, where its hidden unless one activates scrolling?
14:04:55lisp123This might be something that is automatically done by the backend
14:34:58jackdanielI can think of a few ways to do that but I don't think that any meets the "without too much work" criteria
14:35:41lisp123jackdaniel: No worries, no big deal. Was just something I was thinking
14:35:43jackdanieln.b I've read a few quite convincing posts that argue that hiding scroll bars is an ux stepback
14:36:16lisp123I used to think that, but I've gotten used to it I guess
15:07:35scymtym_most recent UI paradigm changes seem to cater to casual usage. so i wouldn't say a step back per se, but a step back for complex use cases
15:08:24scymtym_(same with programming languages, where the ability to pick up a language quickly seems to be the most important aspect nowadays)
