17:56:54another-userhow can i spawn 5 terminals in different splits of same group?
17:58:05another-userthe problem is that i'm not sure how to wait for terminal(urxvtc) to finish spawning and then execute "fnext"
18:07:38notarockToo bad that he left :/ I know you can have windows placment rules, but is it possible to have them as a "one-time" rule? He could spawn his 5 terminals and they get placed where he want them when they spawn
18:09:24another-usernotarock: yeah, but how can i define placement rule if all terminals have the same class?
18:11:04another-usernotarock: i think it is possible to have them as "one-time" rule, you could restore them from file and then call clear-window-placement-rules
18:16:42notarockMmmm... i cant think of anything with now. I have a couple placement rules but never explored them much. let us know if you find out :)
18:25:49another-userfigured it out: you can use "-name" option of urxt to set it to unique value and then use ":instance" of placement rule to match against it
