hello, i wanted to create an interactive command in the spirit of dmenu -- basically you run some command, display its output as a sorted list, and allow typing to fuzzy search there. Is there something like this already in stumpwm? i see the 'select-from-menu' function used here https://github.com/stumpwm/stumpwm-contrib/blob/master/util/clipboard-history/clipboard-history.lisp#L44-L56 however this is only "half" of what I want

i've also seen 'select-from-batch-menu' and 'command-menu' functions in stumpwm code which could be of use here

sorry, i asked the question based on my notes from some time ago, i wanted to implement this but didn't have time so just collected the knowledge

seeg: sure. if select-from-menu doesn't do what you want, you can always use dmenu/rofi/fzf/etc

well i compare to xmonad where you basically are encouraged to use 3rd party software to display the title bar etc, so dmenu there is natural, but stumpwm provides some UI functionality as well
