12:55:20Gnuxie[m]Hmmm it could be possible to work while asleep, you'd have to implement CL in your dream world somehow though
12:55:42Gnuxie[m]I dream about emacs and slime all the time
12:56:25beachWhen I was a freshman at the university, I slept with a paper pad next to my bed, because I found solutions to calculus problems in my sleep.
12:56:51beachI had to write them down as soon as I woke up in order not to forget.
13:08:18Gnuxie[m]I also get sleep parylysis when i didnt before but nothing to scary yet, I had a loo roll thrown at me and some rodent crawl down my arm
13:16:09beachI remember no-defun-allowed telling me your time zone, but not the country. Just curious. I was kind of guessing the UK, given the lack of grammar errors in your writing.
13:16:47beachI like having a mental picture of where people live, I guess.
13:25:38beachI had a good talk with Xof (who lives in London) at the PhD defense (in Paris) of Jim Newton, and he was quite worried about a "hard brexit". He and his two daughters all have dual nationality (UK and France), but not his wife, so he was working on getting that to happen before the shit hits the fan, as we say.
13:26:42beachLots and lots of our UK friends who live here in south-west France are taking French citizenship. The authorities are swamped with requests.
13:27:12beachLet's hope the worst-case scenario doesn't happen.
