hi. i mentioned this in #sicl before, but maybe y'all would be interested in giving feedback as well. i'm working on CL highlighting and editing based on more thorough analysis compared to what e.g. emacs does. the left panel and the AST on the right are from an experiment in that direction: https://techfak.de/~jmoringe/semantic-highlighting-2.png

i'm currently working out how to specify and apply highlighting rules assuming the source text, a CST and an AST are already available. this approach which is a bit like reverse CSS since it starts from a node and looks at ancestors to find the most specific applicable rule: https://techfak.de/~jmoringe/editor-design/semantic-highlighting.html
