first off, i like what i see, especially the animations. i especially like the climbing animations

you have a 'falling' animation as well, my point is that you could have reused the climbing animation for that, but it's a nice touch that falling has its own animation

it took a while to figure out how to do jump + dash + a direction, but i've got the hang of it now

Yeah especially transitioning between climbing and dashing is not great on keyboard

what do you think of parallax scrolling? i am trying to imagine it for some of the background elements here

well, there's no real gameplay yet and i am still having fun with it. that's got to be a good thing

so, i'm not always able to reproduce the clips, but if you left-click, and then press shift while the attack animation is in progress, the game freezes up forever and you have to kill it
