hi. i mentioned this in #sicl before, but maybe y'all would be interested in giving feedback as well. i'm working on CL highlighting and editing based on more thorough analysis compared to what e.g. emacs does. the left panel and the AST on the right are from an experiment in that direction: https://techfak.de/~jmoringe/semantic-highlighting-2.png

i'm currently working out how to specify and apply highlighting rules assuming the source text, a CST and an AST are already available. this approach which is a bit like reverse CSS since it starts from a node and looks at ancestors to find the most specific applicable rule: https://techfak.de/~jmoringe/editor-design/semantic-highlighting.html

Shinmera: Hmm, not sure. I think my biggest problem is with the platforms that are partially solid. The lighting effect helps a bit, but not enough. Perhaps just a bigger color difference?

I mostly had trouble in the rooms below the hallway below the engineering room. Trying to climb from floor to floor and accidentally falling a lot

Yeah, part of that was AFK and such, but I think I played for a little over an hour or so

Oh by the way in case you missed my earlier message, you'll want to set your TyNET password for the TyNET IRC now.

It's now running on top of Lichat, which requires passworded login for registered accounts.

And yeah, the hub staircase to the right is quite annoying, I know. The one to the left is much esier, but it definitely needs more iterations.

mood: if you're running weechat we also have a dedicated script for lichat instead

I suppose theoretically the IRC stup could offer that through automated CTCP but fuck if I'm gonna implement that lol
