there's not a ton of the story that's set yet, and what is there is very broad-strokes, so it's possible it'll change a lot still.

phoe: Should I take https://irclog.tymoon.eu/freenode/%23lisp?around=1596788337#1596788337 to mean that Markless is a poor reinvention of Markdown?

more like "I'm frustrated with the fact that we're constantly writing documentation in plain text files in plain text editors in various flavors of markup rather than editors specialized for this sort of thing capable of doing automatic formatting and xrefs and indexing and such"

Speak for yourself :) Markless has a specialised editor with live-preview, and staple adds xrefs and all of that stuff.

Just to temper your expectations, markless-studio does not do xrefs and stuff like that.

But, since Definitions and Staple-Parser are separate I don't see why it couldn't be integrated to a large part.

Since Markless is extensible pretty easily, one could also add custom syntactic constructs for code documentation.

gingerale: I have a use-case for verlet simulation in Kandria. Would be nice if I could use your work for that

I'll have to look up how to draw line shapes again and make them stretch as needed.

I'd really like an immediate-style drawing api like old gl though, would make experiments a lot easier
