sts-q: froggey has picked up my mouse wheel changes - buttons 4 & 5. They may be wired up backwards.

Please let me know when you get it hooked up to your editor if it works right.

Ok, thank you fittestbits__! I read your messages with froggey but was not sure if it is in the repo, already.

froggey: I'm getting close to creating a PR for the usb driver and I have a question:

fittestbits__
Even though I have a HID driver for mice, I'd like to include a vendor specific driver (file) for people to look at for an example.

I guess I could convert the source file into a doc file and put in the doc/internals directory, if you prefer.

froggey: So i managed to download and compile Mezzano on OpenSuse with sbcl 1.4.15, it runs on VirtualBox. I think everything is fine.

the wheel is generating mouse events for me. I tested by adding (describe event) to fancy-repl's mouse-event handler

Are you seeing the bits in (mezzano.gui.compositor:mouse-button-state event) change? wheel-up and wheel-down are still bound to NIL in the let.

So, not getting a mouse event for scroll wheel. I'm rebuilding with the latest version of mezzano - it'll take a while.

I didn't realize your editor was available. I'll bring it in and see what I can figure out on the scroll wheel problem.

As it looks i made the snapshot too early, while the blue light was still on. Now. at every reboot Mezzano goes to 100% CPU for some time.

sts-q: It's working for me. I pulled the latest version of mezzano (from froggey's repository), did a "make clean", and "make cold-image-vmdk".

Loaded pet, and saw events when I did scroll wheel on the pet window. Then added a print for the buttons and saw the scroll wheel buttons change state.
