jackdaniel: I only had a little time on Friday to play with ECL unfortunately. It was meant to be half a day but in the end it was much less. I managed to get msvc builds 'working' and I could compile and run my test project... mostly. It wouldn't load the .fas files I built, strangely. I cannot recall the reason. Technically right now I don't _need_ the fas files, I can easily compile it into one executable,

but this is sort of due diligence, to make sure that I can set up everything I could possibly need, so I have them as a proof of concept. I also had a look at switching the compiler from msvc to clang (as in, built ecl with msvc, then try to build my executable with clang) I didn't expect it to link of course, but also, it does try to apply the msvc compiler flags to the clang build, which is never going to

work :P How dependant is the ECL compile process on the platform and toolchain? I am hoping it is somewhat agnostic, so that I should be able to "just" change the compiler and compile flags out and I would be able to cross compile...

that said switching to different compiler after compiling ecl is not supported (though it may work)

so it is not agnostic (it is planned to be, especially to enable easy cross-compilation)

I guess with that I _should_ be able to make some build scripts to cross compile for console fairly easily... I just need to figure out how I can build libecl.so for PS4, and link against that one :P
