In other words, if I shift-drag on a stream pane that contains text in bold, for example, you can paste that into the rich text editor in Google Docs or the WIkipedia editor, and it will preserve the highlighting.

There. Now any copy in Drei will result in the text also being added to the clipboard. That means I can press C-k to kill a line, and then C-v in the browser to paste it.

It used to be shifted so that it wouldn't interfere with other uses of middle-click, but I've fixed that now so that the middle click is only detected when it should be.

You'd still need to use shift-drag to select (unless we change that too, but that may be more problematic?).

jackdaniel: OK, I think the best way to get the paste operation to play well with Drei was to create a Drei command that can paste the content of the clipboard. I just implemented it, and I finally believe it's stable and doing the right thing.
