If anyone wants to see the redraw problem, try running my scrollin gpatch, along with Climaxima

Plot→Discrete will display a few lines of dialog entry on the screen. If it tries to do this while at the bottom of the screen, you get display errors.\

It seems to be a problem with the order in which things happen... it seems to draw (outside the screen?) before scrolling. But after the scrolling os done, my code requests a repaint. However, the repaint doesn't happen so the actual position of the dialog might not have happened yet

However, even if I add a queue-event with a repaint event at the end, it _still_ doesn't repaint

I honestly have no idea what's going on, so if anyone wants to have a look, here's a good way to make me happy :-)

Not biking today, so that's annoying. One of the spokes on my wheels snapped when I was going downhill, and getting replacements has been a struggle

Oh, that's too bad. I am not biking either, because we have those summer thunderstorms here in Bordeaux. Much worse than those in Sài Gòn.

Seems like expensive wheels also makes for expensive parts... It's like 15 $ or so for a replacement, if you can find them from the distributor. Someone on amazon UK sold a single spoke for 50 punds

Still missing is the locking required for allocations in the global heap by the application threads, but I don't think that is problematic.

(I'm checking the biggest online bike shop, and the popular wheels are around 200-350 punds

The stuff you are good at is in the document now, so if and when you have time to take a look, I would greatly appreciate it.

The GC chapter is a bit long, but there are several pages of figures and examples, so I don't think it is terribly dense.

So in demodemo for example, one can run the "address book" demo, and then press return a few times to get the cursor to the bottom and then run the "describe" command.

I realised there were off-by-one errors caused by the fact that the pane location (insice a viewport) could be set to non-integer coordinates
