Heh. Just came across a reference to ABCL: https://www.amazon.com/ABCL-Object-Oriented-Concurrent-Computer-Systems/dp/0262240297/

slyrus: I think the function low-mark is obsolete. I think it dates from a time when I was naive and thought that it was enough to keep the damaged region in the buffer. Athas said he fixed this problem. The call to that function is in a function named UPDATE-LEX in the file syntax.lisp.

The function update-lex is called from some syntax modules in Climacs, but those syntax modules can safely be removed.

slyrus: I am having a hard time keeping up. I am working on Second Climacs to replace (first) Climacs, but that work has been delayed by the need for the CST-to-AST module in Cleavir (which I am working on). In parallel, I started to clean up the code of (first) Climacs, but that turns out to be hard without the functionality that I am planning for Second Climacs. :)

Ok. most of the remaining warnings come from the bit about not being able to "find type for specializer" for the |(presentation-type FOO)| classes. There's an interesting comment in the SBCL sources about whether this should be full warning or just a style-warning.

slyrus: That warning would be good to remove. But I don't have any idea about how to do it.
