Yes! I found a way to smoothly regex replace amber input scripts, python code and common lisp code in a consistent way.

I embed things like :%FOO% into whatever code and then use cppcre to regex-replace :%FOO% with whatever string I want.

The ':' and uppercase lets me write the replacement rules with keyword symbols like :%foo% in Common Lisp
